ing up to the competition season at the Wimbledon Speaker’s Club! To be in with a chance torepresent Wimbledon at the next London region final come along on Wednesday 11th February, and take part in our topics and evaluation heats.
This is the perfect opportunity to put your improvising skills to the test!
December 10th saw a very high quality Annual Speech Contest.
Speaking to the theme of ‘Rules and Chaos’ Barry Watts came out as winner ahead of a very strong field of entries.
The 2 judges were Katherine Inglis and Alice Herron – both National Speech contest prize winners.
And they needed all their experience to separate a very tight contest.
Barry, pictured right, will now go on to represent Wimbledon at the London Area final early in the New Year.
