Wimbledon Speakers Club

We had a fantastic evening on Wednesday and got back into the speaking stride quickly and easily.  Michael led a full meeting, with a round of highly apt Topics (on the theme of New Beginnings), and with two excellent prepared speeches from Jan and Lissi.

Congratulations to Jan, who also earned her Level 5 certificate for prepared speeches and claimed the prize for best topic of the evening.

We extended a warm welcome too to new guests Robert, Anton and Alex.

We look forward to plenty more at the next meeting of Wednesday 28th September.  See you there!

We gather again this Wednesday 14th September for the first meeting of the new speaking season.  Please do come along to the Club, to participate as much or as little as you would like to and get a feel for what we do.
